Fire Liverock

What do I need to do for liverock that has been involved in a fire. The tank in question may have used copper so I am already soaking the liverock with a pump in a tub, but are the carcinogens ever going to be non-existent?

If copper is even part of the equation, I would use it for landscaping.

You should not find a sould on RC that gives you advice on how to make that rock useable. The fire alone is probably such an unknown that its not worth risking. The COPPER is reason enough to NEVER use that rock in an aquarium that will see corals......

I figured a few months in a tub with water changes would allow the copper to dissipate. I guess I shouldnt risk it.
