Fire Shrimp and Green Bubble tip Anemone

When I am trying to feed my green Bubble tip Anemone with mysis shrimp and my fire shrimp come and grabs it from the anemone. I thought Anemone should defend itself. I wonder if it is sick, when I shoo the fire shrimp away, anemone eats its shrimp.

I always feed the tank including Fire Shrimp before feeding my nems. It keeps the shrimps busy just enough so the Anemones can finish their meals. Try a turkey baster and shoot some Mysis towards the Fire Shrimp.

+1 to using food as a distraction. Also, you can use one of the baskets strawberries come in to cover the nem while it is eating. These baskets allow water flow but pesky shrimp and fish can't steal the food.
