Fire shrimp vs Golden Torch

I was feeding my Torch yesterday and out of nowhere came my ~3" Fire shrimp. I guess the mysis he already got didnt satisfy him, so he proceeded to rip open my Torch and nip at the tentacles until he got some mysis from it. I chased him away and he proceeded to pull at my Duncan in a failed attempt at eating the Duncan's silverside pieces. He is starting to annoy me with his appetite, it may be about time to put him in the 'fuge for a time out.

I got a cleaner, fire and 3 peppermints in my tank. They are always stealing foods from all my LPS...It's not a big problem.

I just bribe my cleaner shrimp with a little piece fish when I feed my lps. The little guy is happy and the corals eat in peace.

Use a protective device like a tupperware cup with small circulation holes to protect the food.
