Done a lot of research on this and have even seen some posts on here about similar issues. I have a firefish now in a 10 gallon that I moved from a 5 gallon qt by himself. All parameters are good except a kinda high 8.4 pH reading. He has a small cave built out of marine pure and PVC in one corner of the aquarium.
I've fed him every other day since I got him Saturday and he's seemed ok until today he hasn't eaten when I got home from work. I have been feeding him frozen brine with garlic. I did a 50 percent water change and it doesn't seem much better so far. He is swimming around but can't really get off the bottom of the tank. His head is facing downward and tail in the air. When he stops he falls over on his side. He seems to get worse each day and being that this is my first fish I'd hate to repeat these errors with other fish.
I drip acclimated him over an hour, matched temperature and salinity. I've maintained good conditions in the tank.
Is it possible he's constipated from eating too much the first few times I fed him? Now he can hardly swim for the food.
He does have some white coloration on his underside but i feel like that's from rubbing on the bottom of the tank while swimming. You can see it in my other post here:

I'm getting some meds (prazipro/cupramine) delivered today, but I'm fearful it will be too late.
