Fireplace in same room as fishtank...

Kind of a stupid question, but we lit up our fireplace for the first time today, and it's in the same room as the fishtank. I have a T-5 set on top of the tank, but nothing enclosing, and had that sudden panic of "is this really stupid?" It's a well ventilated room and all, but just curious if anyone has any ideas.

No problem unless you were to light it up with the flue closed but then you would be in danger too.

Mine is in the same room also. No problems that I have noticed when burning.
