looking forward to any new pics, what you going to do for a stand

As far as corals dweezle..... I plan to have a little of everything depending on what I find and trades. I dont plan to buy any live stock at my local fish store just because of what I've seen on craigslist. Too many people are losing thier homes and are killing corals and fish ( not on purpose) due to moving, so.... I plan to use this tank to save what I can on craigslist, ebay recycler ect.. Also to see how the tank turns out with reef central member suggestions. BTW..The whole set up that I have was bought off ebay and craigslist also(tank, sump, protein skimmer ect...).

Well, when I bought my black back tank the person whom I purchased the tank gave me a deal with the blue back. The only problem was obviously no stand but, I bought it anyways ( where else are you gonna find two 180 gallon tanks for $1100. Anyways, I plan to build a stand if I ever learn woodworking skills!?? eeeew wish me luck

well i know a few reefers who are outstanding with woodwork, and built their own stands, i can you in touch with them should you decide when your near the time you need some tips,sounds like you got a great deal there anyhow, im usless at carpentry but will try anything, if you get the time it might be worth a punt having a go
Yeah, I've been watching the lists too for a good deal on a larger tank. Seems like everytime I see a good one, it's in FL. Was kinda irk'd at first, then I figured out why there's so many for sale in FL. Cool idea man. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Maybe the mods can hook you up with polls for any hot debates.

yea mike put me in contact with them and ill post pics of stands that I plan on building in the future.
And dweezle, trust me, Im on craigslist and ebay all day with my iphone and I also find good deals in the boonies!!! But, for some reason the longer I wait the better things I end up finding. The light that Im picking up tmrw is off of craigslist. I gave the seller a deposit and he held it for me ( he had closed his fish store and was selling everything so I bought the light). I purchased 200lbs of live sand that he had lying around which is the sand that you see in the pics also.
