i just got my first anemone its a RBTA! i was wondering where i should set it up at because i know they like to move everywhere they want. i have it set up on a rock away from all my coral. should i leave it here until it attaches itself to the rock? then move it to where i want or what?

Thanks

the best/easiest way to do it would be to get it on a small piece o rock or rubble and then when it is attached you can move it to where you want to go:)

They attach to holes in rocks and caves. Provide it with large pieces of liverock with plenty of caves. Also, until it's attached securely, cover any powerheads.

You both got it wrong :-).
The anemone will more where it want to go. There is not a whole lot you can do about it. It you put it where you think it like, and it agree with you then it stay put, otherwise move the coral in it's way

To influence it staying where you want, put it on a good crevicy rock near a soft current in a spot with good light. I've had good success with this. But there's always a chance it will move especially if conditions change or your bulbs start losing intensity in which case it might start moving up to the light.
