What is a good Anemone for a beginner to start with. Just introduced my first clown fish and live rock two days ago.

too new of a tank to keep host anemone. Wait a little, you clownfish will do just fine without an anemone. Wait 3-6 months, mainly to make sure you can keep the tank stable first. If everything is doing just great in 3-6 months then you can add an anemone.

I love bubble tip anemone, easiest to care for, readily available and come in many colors. They will host all kinds of clowns, but it's no guarantee that the clowns will want to go into it. Just make sure you have the right lighting and tank size for what ever nem you end up going with. That is once your tank is matured and stable, usually after 3 months depending on your live rock and husbandry skills. Another plus to bubble tip nems, once you've had it for a while and it's healthy, it may end up splitting. Or if you want to control it's size/clone, you can also cut them in half as long as its really healthy.

If you have a dsb the lta is the easiest anemone if you don't have a dsb go bubbletip.make sure they are in perfect health u are not skilled enough to fix a bleached ir starving anemone.

Thanks again everyone one for the help. Had a fresh water tank for 12 years. This is my first attempt at a reef tank.

I agree, I definitely would suggest waiting some time before attempting any anemone. The easiest that is found hosting clowns in the wild are the quadricolors, also referred to as "Bubble Tip."
