First Annual ETRC Frag Swap

This was my first swap and I had a great time! I scored a very pretty ric and 3 arcans! Then I won the pair of black clowns which made my day since I have always wanted some and never could have afforded them otherwise.

Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and very willing to talk, answer questions and troubleshoot problems with me.

I was glad that I could help out at the raffle ticket table and it was great to put faces with the names I've seen on here.

I vote for another swap next year!

I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the swap. I was real impressed with the turnout and thought everything went great. It was nice to put some faces to the RC names. Thanks to the sponsors, the other BOD members, the volunteers, and everyone who came to the swap!
 
I enjoyed it quite a bit even if I didn't have my tank set up to where I could by or sell/trade anything.

I took a lot of pics, but don't have time to post them. I have burned them to a CD for somebody who requested them. Chris, was that you? Send me your address so I can mail it to you.
 
hey guys great swap I think I made it home with about 10 frags or more. I did'n think it would all fit but Its stuffed in there and looks great. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible and to all the people who brought all the great looking frags again thanks

hah hah...well Chase...let's just say that I made a quadruple batch and about 3/4 of it was eaten. hah hah. Granted, Ashley and I were loading people up with it, but STILL...THREE BATCHES? hah hah. That's awesome.

I can see it now "well, I wasn't going to go to the ETRC's swap but I heard they have this wicked awesome cheese dip..."

Consider your thunder completely stolen and made my female dog. I couldn't have done it without your secret recipe. :beer:
 
Well guys, unfortunately I missed the swap but I have heard all about it from JWJ!
It was like Christmas when he got home!!:D

We got some really great stuff, some of which were things we had been looking for for quite a while.

Thanks to everyone and I hope that I can make the next one!

I cannot believe you guys went through that much cheese dip what did you do fill a kiddie ppol with cheese dip, hey thats a good idea = )

I am definitely planning on being at the CRC swap! I was really looking forward to ya'lls yesterday but with my kiddo being in AllStars and some things going on with family it was just a better idea to stay home. In any case I am glad that Jimmy made it...he got me lots of new "goodies"!:D

Can't wait to meet you guys at the CRC swap!

Thanks for the frags randy and chris both looking great ..wish i could have got more but my tank is just about full..unless i find a coral that changes color in front of me
 
Great job and Randy and everyone else who helped make it work. I had a gret time and got to hang out with a lot of old salts. Had a great time hanging out with a few new people, too (Garry and Dave:)). My new blennies are hanging out together in the SPS tank. They glow under VHO's:).

That dip had crack in it...

No man...hah hah. We had one of those HUGE crock pots full to the brim with 2 batches of it, then when it ran out, I made a second double batch of it and sold half of that one as well!

I took it home and Nathan and I ate some of it for dinner. Then we decided to give it away lest we each gain 500 lb.

When I have the time I'll feed it every other day... Lately its been like once every other week... :rolleyes:
