First attempt and raising baby snowflakes.

I have a batch hatching tonight. I'll start posting again tomorrow and do more videos for everyone. I'll post updated pics of my progress of my others as well.

Yeah. I just picked up a nice pair of platinums. I'll try and post an updated video of my first few batches.

I'm also in the process of setting up another 6 chamber tank to house all the fry. I'll post a pic of that in a few days once it's completed.

Tidus my snowflakes are a few years old and they've been together for a long time. Not quite sure exactly how long.

Cody my first set isn't quite big enough yet to sell. I'll be letting them go for probably around $40 to $50. Just depends on the grade of them how much I'll be selling them for. I have a deal with my LFS but I'll be keeping some for myself to sell to off set my expenses that I have into this so far.

i have been losing all my fry in the first 2 days. I'm using broodstock water and temp is steady. I dunno what I'm doing wrong.

is your water nice green like ajdivers, with lots of rotis, what is your brodstock water salinity, mine is @1.025 on the second day I bring it down to 1.020.
whats your lighting, and schedule.
my schedule is 16 hrs for the first 4 days with a incandescent 4 feet above and also using natural light

I start to bring my salinity down on day 3. And after 2 weeks I start to run an intank filter to start and clear the water. There's a lot of variables that can cause them to die. We need a little more details in order to help.

Day 6.
I'm doing a little less than a gallon water change per day and I'm feeding rotifers and otohime A as well. It's only a 5 gallon tank so that's why I only do a small water change each day. I'm also slowly dropping my salinity and keeping my water tinted.
