First batch of eggs!

As I type this, my female ocellaris is laying eggs for the first time. Just thought I would share. The pair have been together for at least 2 years if not more, so this has been a long awaited event.

How often to ocellaris usually lay their eggs. I know most clowns stick to a schedule, but I wasn't sure if that was species specific or not.

They stick to a schedule once they get going a few times. Mine usually lay every 10 or 11 days.

Cool. I have a 10g just itching for some clown fry. But I don't have any rotifers going and I stopped growing phytoplankton because I was traveling a lot,

Besides, I have no idea what I would do with the clowns after they got bigger.

Well, this batch made for some quick fish food as all the eggs are gone. I am glad I was around to witness it or I would never have known.
