Yes. I am running 2x's what I normally do. You said in an earlier post to run this in order to remove whatever is triggering it. there's nothing in Knopps book about it because his book is over 10 years old and this has just come about in the last few years.

the treatment im suggesting works (without dipping), you need to follow the guide lines above. a small amount of carbon with a little bit of water trickling over it isn't going to cut it.

it is pinched mantle for sure... I would do a freshwater dip for 5 mins with the water being close to the same temp and ph of the tank. Treat if ASAP before the other clams get it as well..
 
Well, the clam that originally started showing the symptoms is once again doing it. Ideas for the next step? I'm back to running the original amount of carbon...
 
please explain how you were running the carbon and how much. i would continue to run the extra carbon for now
