First colony & hitchhiker, ID help?

So, I got my first polyp 'colony'...

and this guy/gal swam out during the dip, managed to pull him/her out quick and get him/her into tank water...

When the shot was taken (s)he was in a 16oz plastic cup, so (s)he's about 1" long.

Doing a bit of digging, (s)he seems to be a good guy, but before dropping him/her into the tank. I'm hoping for some experienced opinions before it croaks in the bucket.

i'm not a worm expert but it looks like a "Hesionidae" which is a type of brsitle worm. i think it's ok.
