First corals

I bought my first 2 corals today and I am wondering if I can place them in the gravel/sand , or should I try to wedge them between rocks? That is the best place for them I think. One is a pearl coral and the other I'm not sure. It's a beginners coral, small brown polyps. Was only 2 for $10.00.
