First CUC order for new 200DD

My tank has been set up for about a month now. Seeing a lot of diatoms and algae on the rocks, sand, and glass. There's about 150#'s of LR and a 1.5-2" sand bed (Carribsea Seaflor Special Grade). Here's what I was thinking as far as an initial CUC:

20 X nassarius vibex
20 X dwarf cerinth
10 X Florida cerinth
4 X trochus

Also: 2 emerald crabs, a ball of chaeto, and some pods to seed the tank

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Mexican turbo snails, if you can get them. They eat a lot of hair algae and can grow pretty big - from 1" on arrival up the the size of a hard ball in a couple of years - so you don't need many.

the nassarius are useless for diatoms and algae.

I wouldn't get crabs, if I wanted something to take care of larger algae, a tang or foxface would be my choice of a crab.

Good call. The place I'm ordering from doesn't sell them, but I can pick a few up at my LFS this week.

I'm aware that nassarius do not eat algae or diatoms. I just think they're cool and keep the sandbed moving. Same thing with the emerald crabs. I'm big on inverts so eventually I'd like to add some peppermint shrimp, cleaner shrimp, and a handful of pom pom crabs. I used to have a single pom pom crab in my 125 and I'd literally only see it once a year, but when I did it was always cool to see 1) that it was still alive, and 2)how much it had grown.
