First fish addition

I'm looking for suggestions for my first addition to my tank. Can't decide on which to add first. I'm looking to place the order this weekend so that it will arrive by Tuesday 2/28.

Tank has been up since 1/22, cycled completed as of 2/5, CUC added 2/10, all parameters are good. ph 8.2 Amm/Nitrite/Nitrate Zero SG 1.025

40Breeder; 20g sump with fuge ( ~6lbs LR rubble, chaeto, 5 mangroves); 42lbs of Key largo dry rock; mp 10wes; mag 7 return; Radion LED fixture; octopus nw 4; custom built stand/canopy.

Projected stock list:
- Royal Gramma
- Diamond Watchman Goby
- Clownfish (possibly pair, leaning towards Clarkii)
- Wrasse (pref. a leopard but I'm unsure of difficulty of keeping, or else a fairy)
- Blenny (possibly midas) OR Dwarf Angel (Potter's)

What do you think of this list? Which one should i start with first?

Thanks for the help.

Sidenote: I'm trying to wait 6 months to a year before I add any coral so they have a stable home.

i would personally go with the clarki first you really dont have enough growth in your sand bed yet to feed the goby or blenny

I would skip the diamond sand sifting goby, I'd also get a smaller lees aggressive clownfish.
This is what I would add(in order)
Small goby
midas blenny
gramma
wrasse
clown(s)

What kind of smaller, less aggressive clownfish do you mean? Aren't they all relatively semi-aggressive?

Thanks all for you input so far :)

You would be better off w/ ocellaris clowns, they are smaller than the clarkii. All clown pairs will be aggessive in the end but these guys are at the low end of the list compared to a maroon.

That's a good stocking list for your tank, I would go with that & if you're not sure about what kind of blenny, tailspots are fun & have a ton of personality.

awesome, thank you for the help. I will go with some tank raised ocellaris clowns in the end.

I'm think clown goby to start off, I'm interested in that tailspot blenny, I'll have to go look them up. Thanks again!!!

I would agree. I don't think the order you add those species in will be particularly important. They're all pretty passive. I'd add the clowns cuz they're tough.
