actually it is clean cause it is new.i got the rock from tamike and it is sweet rock.big chunks all(12 lbs or more)and lots of big holes in them.the one rock looks like it was made to hold sps frag plugs.

good luck with the powder blue. I love them. I have had mine 2 years. what other fish do you have? They are very territorial and if you attempt to add fish once he has been there for any length of time you may have a problem. feed a variety of foods from frozen to live to pellet and make sure you use nori or some sort of seaweed. Mine gets an occasional touch of ich but I just ignore it and seems to go away. I run UV with my tangs and think this makes a huge difference. I change the bulb every 8months. People will argue the use of UV but I swear by it for ich and parasite control. Good luck. send a full tank photo. Looks like a new tank so congrats

he is the only fish in the tank at the moment, but i plan on stocking it up over the next week or two.i think i am going to add in fish like gobies and wrasses first then get any bigger fish i want last.id hate for the little fish to get picked on so i would rather add the small fish first.the tank is new but alot of the rock and corals will come from my 37g.i did get 50lbs of rock but it came out of an established system.it has has rock for a week now with no noticable spike.when it comes to ich i have found that peppermint shrimp work well for me.i have a yellow tang in my 37(yeah i know but he is small)and my pep cleaned him up a few times.
