WOW, is all I can say. I thought I had seen them all till I crossed paths with this thing. It seriously kicks butt. I'm going to buy another one for my frontosa tank very soon. This thing has some serious filtration, very well thought out on the design by fluval. The media canisters are made with the serious aquarist in mind who does water changes regularly. The filter has a purge valve so that the filter can be drained and removed for cleaning. The valves are good quality. Intake tube is very stealth looking. Filter is very quiet. It has 3 large media baskets. In mine I put carbon, filter floss and bio balls. I wonder if I could put some live rock pieces in the canister in place of the bio balls. My intent of this filter was for water polishing and running media such as carbon. Looks like it is going to do the trick. This is not my only means of filtration, I am running a sump as well. I highly recommend these filters for those that have tanks 90g and above.
