Yeah, I think so as well. I dose about 14g/day of kalk top-off water...

14g/day? Are you sure your tank ain't leaking ? I plan to do 2gpd on the kalk during the light out period and leave the rest to my auto topoff.

Bart, for your tank size, you will need to start at least 3gpd and work your way up as need. Since you start with frags, 3gpd in conjunction with your Ca reactor should be plenty till them frags starting to grow...

coraline and halimeda macro can suck the Ca and alk right out of your water as well.

Jonathan, peel off the rest of your coralline, and I guarantee you'll only need 7g of top-off

Actually there is quite a bit but the water line is not visible in that pic. You can see some glare/reflection that looks like a water line, but it isn't. The window frame is wrapped with a glossy material so it makes it look that way.
