First tank - curing rock workflow question

I'm about to receive >100lbs of Pukani rock this week and will start the curing process. However, I have never aquascaped before and wasn't sure of a typical workflow. So should I:

a) create an ideal aquascape simulation (cutting, drilling, etc), then dump it into my curing basin, then add to display tank

b) cure it, then create an ideal aquascape, then place it into the display tank?

c) insert thought here!

I'm a noob. Learning fast, but there is a lot to learn. I have a 160g DT on order, I'm building a salt mixing station now, and will have the ability to start curing my rock this week. However, I have no idea how to combine the different stages properly to make an aquascape (gluing, etc). Any advice would be helpful, thank you!

Option B - after you get your structure how you want it, the step immediately after should see it going in your tank. Anything else is a waste of effort, because it's probably not going to go together exactly the same over multiple buildings.

Thanks. Probably a silly question, but during the cure there will probably be beneficial bacteria build up. Do I risk killing that bacteria? Another wards, how long can I keep it out of the water before it's dead rock...

even very little moisture it will stay alive. They ship (days) just wrapped in wet newspaper.

So no worries on the hours out of water.

Build it the way you want it to look them add water, keep in mind future changes, solid base thats on the glass then add other, add water, get with it
