First time fragging

Ignore the bubbles, my hob that I have running while trying to clear out some of this floating sand. This is the host coral, you can see where the cut healed up. The coral itself is pretty mad right now with the sand removal. The frag is healthy looking, I gave the frag to my mom so I have to go to her house to get a picture.

I went and took some pictures of the frag.

Here you can see where it has attached to the rock and is starting to grow it's stalk

This side is the side where it was cut. You can't even see the place where it was removed anymore.

It does look great! I am definitely tempted to frag mine now.
Hey that is really cool that your mom and you both have reef tanks. Did she get you into it , or visa versa?

I actually got her into it. I had mine up for about 6 months and had a 30 gal laying around that I decided to give her and we went from there. She is fighting a bad case of cyanobacteria right now, but it is all turning green so I'm thinking it's dieing now. I'll go take a picture of my leather now that it isn't so mad at me so you can see the whole thing.
