First try to make a macro video of my corals

Played around with my Canon 70D and the EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM macro lens last night. Still trying to get the hang of it but here is the results.

Thanks everyone. I need more practice in focusing better. Hard with the 100th macro as is has a very shallow DOF.

Best thing here would be to edit your video .

you can cut out all the blurriness via post

looks good for your first crack at it

Maybe also try a little bit of slo motion on the video post shot I think it would give it more dramatic effect. Looks good as is though.

Thanks for all the comments. Will try to make another movie in a couple of days or so. Slow motion is a good tip. Had it at a couple of places in this movie but did not exploit it too much.
