I would say, not so happy. Looks like two polyps are starting to open. Are they more open today than two days ago. I have many zoas and they are usually completely opened in a few hours after acclimation. How did you acclimate them? I'm not sure how strong your lights are, so I can't comment on your lighting. (I have T5s.)

Drip acclimation within 30 minutes in bag from Lfs. Coral Rx dip for 5 minutes and then placed on bottom of tanks.

No polyps would open first day. Yesterday one barely opening. Today 3 polyps slightly opened. One of the polyps is on the back side of photo.

I have to agree with Daddy.. most Zoas (in my experience) will start to open within hours.. if not minutes.. of being properly acclimated...

I have seen horribly abused Zoas open quicker than those..

What is the flow like down there? What kinda lighting?

Also.. what else is in ur tank... What is your temp?

Temp stays consistent at 79-80. 2-a150w 10k kessils. Flow is indirect, the hair algae 2" behind the plug constantly whips back and forth. I have 2 425 gphs aimed at each other in the corners, intersecting in the middle of the tank. One 240 at middle level aimed down the front glass.

Crappy fts for reference

This plug was $6 at Lfs. So it probably was abused or crap fragging. It does not have any nudis or nudi eggs. I searched hard. It was not opening fully at Lfs.

Tank mates, cuc and a peppermint. The pepper hasn't gone near it.

Edit: frag is slightly left of center 1" away from front. You can barely see it In craphone pic.

update!

There is a brownish worm, no bigger than a hair peeking out at the base of a polyp. It's smooth and round. There is a whitish trail (looks like sand)that he is coming out of. is this what is ticking the polyps off?

Do I need to dip again, if so what solution?
