I taking a guess here, but I'm thinking fish don't sleep completely motionless tipping over do they?
I have a clown that at 11:00 was swimming fine and then lights out and now its in some algea basically motionless almost like it is using the algea to hold itself upright. Occasionally it tries to zip through the algea, almost like it is making a spot to lie down. Doesn't look like it is gasping (never did), ate vigorously tonight at 10:20pm. Noticed a few white clumps (almost cottony looking or stringy) about 2-3 days ago but I worked all weekend so I couldn't really do much but monitor.
I'm thinking I'm going to be disappointed in the morning. I'm thinking if it is alive tomorrow AM some medical attention is in order.
It's interesting that the second clown really seems a little concerned.
So, am I right in that this isn't normal behavior?
Thanks, and any info on if and what to treat with would be appreciated.
