fish can't poop

is there such thing as fish constipation? It looks like my yellow tang anus is blocked and he is getting really thin from not eating. He needs to poop that green algae out...

it is possible that it is blocked. could be some tough food, could be intestinal parasites. how long have you had the fish? when did this start?

had the fish for 3 years? it has always been plump. now you can see ribs. It looks like its anus is swollen.

i'm at a loss on this one. i would probably treat for internal parasites and hope for the best.

Maybe you should soak some Nori in a little Milk of Magnesia or Ex-Lax.
