They can but the presence of the sixline makes the odds less.

Difficult to say, but in any case individual fish are variable.

They are all very cool fishes but are also known for pugnacious attitudes.

I gotta say, i had a sixline, and i liked it, but there are SO many more beautiful wrasses available that I'd never get another one.

Well my friend just told me that his 6 line killed a 4 or 5" Melanurus wrasse in his 125g tank! Maybe I'll stick one in my tank if I decide to go aggressive, which I'm now leaning towards!! Let'em run with the big dogs haha!

Orchid dottybacks can be nasty too. Mine had it out for my yasha haze goby, nipping it's dorsal fin constantly. I have a six line and fridmani together in my cube. The dottyback has been in there for a few years, the six line only a month. Time will tell I suppose.
