I am looking to identify this fish......i can only tell you that he is on page 75 and 109 of Complete Encyclopedia of the SALTWATER AQUARIUM by Nick Dakin and foreword Julian Sprung. It looks like a mix between a powder blue and a powder brown. email me if you know the answer.. ....VanceFargo@aol.com

If so it is believed to be a cross between the Powder Blue and Goldrim tang.

that is very close but the tail fin POINTS go back to almost make a "c" shape and that one they point more up and down. Maybe it is just a older one in the book?

ok here is a better description for those of you who dont have the book to see. It is the same shape and size of a powder blue tang and is brown where a pbt is blue.....it has a two points that go back on its tail fin which is mostly blueish brown and then bright yellow at the ends. it has no white on its face but a tiny line by the mouth other than that it is all black(the mouth). The dorsal and anal fins are blackish blue. and the side fins are yellow. Any other guesses

nope ...nope nope.........thanks for the try..........anyone have the book maybe you can figure it out if you see the pictures.....page 75 and 109
