hey guys, ive got a 10 gallon tank nano, as im new to salt water but as my fish i was wondering if a diamond watchmen goby would live fine in a small tank like mine.

If the fish you are interested in is alenciennea puellaris, no this fish will not work in your tank as it gets its nutrition from particles found while sifting the sand and will not get enough food in your tank.

However, you can have a Orange Spotted Goby (Amblyeleotris guttata) in your nano. Just make sure the tank is covered. I have one of these and really enjoy him.

Thanks for telling me before i buy, does the orange spotted goby sand sift, because i have a deep sand bed.

And considering i have a refugium for copepods wouldn't it be fed a good amount?

The orange spotted goby does not sift sand, but you could get some nassarius snails to do that for you. I do not think that you will be able to get enough food to a sand-sifting goby even with a refugium.
