This may sound stupid but I seem to have problems keeping fish. To the point to where I don't want to buy them anymore. I have a 40 gallon breeder with sps and lps. Corals do great growing nice.
Water paremters are stable.
ph stays between 7.9-8.1 (lights off/lights on)
Alk is 8.0/8.5
1.025
Temp 79 degrees give or take a degree.
No3 and Po4 is undetectable
I feed 3 times a day.
Possible the supplier or is this normal for the hobby.
Thanks

Definitely not normal...

What are the symptoms at death? White spots all over? Ragged fins? No damage whatsoever? Shrunken bellies? Open wounds?

No signs. The couple of yellow coris wrasse and checkerboard wrasse would eat and then spit the food out days later they would hide and then die. The blue chromis no signs just died. The fire fish, one stopped eating and started hiding the other started hiding but would come out to eat. Then stopped eating and now both are gone.
Just had my water tested at lfs "cant get any more perfect then this?"

it seems they stop eating and then die. All look ok.

SHAME ON ME FOR NOT quarantining. REALLY SURPRISED THAT IT COMES DOWN TO THE LFS SINCE THEY ALL COME FROM THE SAME PLACE.

Sorry...at work we use a softeware that must use caps to operate properly. The last message was in caps to but ended up lower case???

Gonna pick-up some Chromis from different LFS guess we'll see.

Lol oh ok...thought you were yelling haha. Well its possible. If they are all from the same place, and not showing any sign of disease...something they are doing I would guess has to be causing it.
