So I've never experienced this before. I have had fish disappear, one by one, and im almost done to just my clown fish. The fish will appear fine and swimming around normal, and then the next day, gone. Its not jumping out, and I dont find fish carcasses anywhere in the tank.
For some of the fish that actually do come back out, they are sort of listless, wont eat even if food is put right up to their mouths. There also not afraid of being poked or netted. I dont see any Ich spots, I dont see them really breathing any differently. They just kind of sit on the bottom of the tank, kind of weakly. The dartfish is really skinny, I can see its spine. So I'm wondering, what does this sound like?
Only thing else Ill add is that I recently bought some plants/snails from gulf-coast ecosystems. The plants have been great but Im just wondering, since these may have come from the ocean, is there the possibility that something came on the plants/snails?
