got a tailspot blenny from DD about 7 weeks ago. he was in QT for 5, and just recently went into the DT.

right now, i found him breathing quickly and heavily on the ground. this just started 3 minutes ago. he is being acclimated into the QT right now.

should i give him a round of cupramine? he has a spot on him which is most likely sand, but just to be sure. anything else i should treat him with?

help is appreciated.

he seems to have died. any ideas?

I had a couple of fish act the way you described but I think it was because I didn't have a protein skimmer for my small tank and my water had become too much of a waist organic soup. Don't know if that be your problem or not my water had this brown tint to it that I thought was just part of a diatom problem. It didn't really smell that great either. lol

Only other thing I could guess is maybe didn't give it enough time to adjust to the new water. So maybe stressed it out too much. My 2 cents of minimal experience.

I'm sorry to hear that. Now to figure out why. From what you stated on the parameters they weren't an issue. How long had it been in your DT before this started, hard to tell from your op. What treatments did you give this fish?
