Fish First Aid Kit

I keep a few meds/treatments on hand for my freshwater tank and was wondering what, if anything, is worthwhile to keep on hand for my reef. Any suggestions?

In the lab I stock copper, formalin, nitrofuran and kanamycin. Pretty much the same list at home with the addition of an iodine based dip for corals.

Oh cool. Im in SB and wanted to explore Flax Pond a bit. I went to a bbq at a house on the pond last summer and ended up at your place by mistake. I thought of trying to do some research or something over the summer there but opted to relax instead ( just finished first year at SB SOM ). Do you do any fishing here?

I don't do fishing there, but some friends of mine routinely walk out to the beach to fish. They generally do pretty good. Feel free to stop by the lab sometime and say hi.

Working on silversides and top smelt for two different professors. Keeps me busy :D

Can you ask your fishing buddy coworkers for some advice for a new local? I'm looking to do some local surf fishing.

Are looking to stick close to Stony Brook area or willing to drive a bit to other areas of the island?

Both. I'd like to find some good local fishing as I'll have a lot more opportunity but I definately want to explore the island a bit and am always looking for fishing buddies.
