Fish food help

I have 2 pajama cardinal fish, 1 six line wrasse, and 1 lawnmower blenny. With the exception of the lmb, I have been feeding the other three PE mysis. They love it, but I don't know if they are getting everything they require. I also have New Life Spectrum sinking pellets, but they don't seem to take any notice of them, and the CuC get most of that food. Is there something else that I might try? I'm fairly new to keeping reef fish, and I'm attempting to give them the best chance of survival.

The pajama and the 6-line wrasse are carnivores, might not be the reasoning. How long have you had them? You can give them anything for carnivores. I like to get all my fish on NLS pellets because they provide a source of everything.

You could always try one of the blended frozen foods like Rod's or Reef Frenzy if you have a local source.

Do you mean the reason they are taking them is because they are carnivores?

whenever i try introducing new food to my fish i usually do it with some of the old.

soaking the pellets in a little PE Mysis juice, feeding them at the same time as the PE Mysis, can both help. it also takes a little bit of luck sometimes.

if you can convince one fish to start eating the stuff, it can help persuade the other ones. monkey see, monkey do, because no one wants to be left out of the dinner buffet.

it usually takes longer than a week to introduce prepared food sources. just keep at it. my anthias took almost 3 months to start eating flake, and my osff pair took almost 4 months. persistence pays off.

keep in mind food size as well. too small it doesn't register, too large they won't think they can gobble it down, so experiment with a few different kinds to see if anything clicks.
