I have a 110G tank with a yellow tang a hippo tang and 5 damsels. I have a combo of soft, lps, and a few SPS in the tank.

I plan to take all 5 damsels out before getting any other fish.

What fish should I get to replace the damsels?

A few I'm considering (not all of them):

Mated pair of Clowns (not sure what kind yet)
Bengaii cardinals
Anthias
Fairy wrasse
6 line wrasse
mandarin
flame angel
copperband butterfly
firefish
red stripe hog fish

From the info that i replies that i got regarding Flame Angels it probably would'nt be a good idea. The rest of your list looks cool though.

There is nothing wrong with getting a flame angel. I had 1 on my 54 gallon reef and he was fine. I now have a Potters Angel in my 120G and love him. He, IMO, is the prettiest of all dwarf angels and has never picked at anything except the rocks.

if you are cool with the LFS and they let you return fish, you shoud try them all out, every fish has his own personaity and some that are notorious for niping coral will not. give them a try and you may be supried at what you find. if you are allways playing it safe you will have a tank with the "standard" set of clowns, hippo tang and cromis.

My 110 I have two clowns, firefish, yellow tang, flame angel, diamiond goby and blue damsel. Everything gets along well.

Thanks everyone.

I'm going to take my chances with the flame angel. If he turns out to be a problem it will be a good excuse to set up a fish only tank :-)

How many more fish can I put in the 110G tank?

I will definately have these fish:

Yellow Tang
Hippo Tang
Flame Angel
