well all this time i've been using the Ocean Nutrion Seaweed(green, garlic flavored) and the only fish that would go for it is my powder brown. i've tried other colors and brands(little fishy?) also. today a buddy of mine gave me this nori from the asian market and my blueface and emperor angelfish went right after it constantly.

i'm just happy to see the angelfish going after non-frozen food..

Nori is an excellent item to use for regular feedings. Especially if you have angels and tangs. It offers a great balance of nutrients and minerals because the marine algae used have relatively sound genetics compared to many terrestrial vegetables. Try to find the unroasted stuff if possible. It doesn't break down as fast as the regular toasted nori. For many buying it online may be the best option.

Which types of Two Little Fishes' nori have you tried? and what did the nori that you had success with look like?

I bought the actual made for the aquarium trade seaweed nori sheets once... it was like $12 for 10 little sheets.

From then on, I've purchased the nori made for sushi rolls from the local asian market, it's like $6 for 50 large sheets... lasts me almost half a year. My fish all love it, all tangs, angels, triggers and wrasses seem to chow down on it just fine.

Yeah the Julian Sprung nori is outrageously priced. You can buy human grade, organic nori for less. :o

How long will the sushi nori last before it starts degrading in the water column? Or does it not even last that long in your tank?

All fish food is incredibly high priced for what you are getting. I priced frozen fish food clam once and it came out to about $18 a pound. I use sushi nori and fresh seafood for most of my feedings and save a ton of money over the frozen store bought foods. I imagine your fish will go just as wild over fresh seafood, I know mine did. About the only frozen food I buy anymore is mysis.

The same goes for nori, dont buy the fish food variety its a total rip off. Just make sure ther are no flavorings or additives (sometimes they add soy protein, avoid this kind) and use sushi nori from the market. I have found a few varieties of sushi nori that break up too fast in the aquarium and I avoid these but most brands I have tried hold up well until eaten, which isnt long in my tank.
