Fish ID Help

I received my new Dr. Foster Smith Catalog today, and there are 2 fish on it.

Anyone know what kind they are?

Yashi White Ray Shrimp Gobies

Yep, just got that one today. The last one I was looking at had guppies... They are cool fish and pair up with pistol shrimp nicely.

Yasha Hase Goby

I've been thinking about getting one of those. The only problem is I have a Gold Headed Sleeper Goby and I'm afraid that they will not get along. Anyone have any info on that?

See if Mel chimes in. She's our 'local' goby expert. The Yasha Hase is not going to bother anyone, but I'm not sure about the Sleeper.

Yasha's are probably like the highfin red stripes: THOSE two might not mix, but the highfins are pretty accepting of tailspot blennies, Yellow watchmen, firefish, and chromis. Their whole desire is to live apart and not hassle anybody. A bit delicate, but well worth the effort. The highfins eat cyclopeeze.

I agree with the statement: not sure about the sleeper. It's more likely to bluster, like the ywg, and just declare its territory, which the yashas are pretty well going to respect. Note: they're not large.
