Can anyone tell me the name of this tang?

Looks like a Gold Rimmed Tang, Or similar type Tang.

Not a gold rim or powder brown they all have a white cheek below the eye. I would say that is a chocolate MIMIC tang. Acanthurus pyroferus

yeah I think it looks like a chocolate MIMIC tang as well. Someone was trying to sell me one and they called it a Portugal tang which I cant find anywhere.

I have had mimic tangs before and personally, havent had luck with them. I believe i had an ebili. problem I had may have been associated with a tang already in my 75 that they just didnt get along with. it is related to the powder blues, orange shoulders, powder browns and Sohal's so they can be high strung, but from what I witnessed they are much more in behavior to the orange shoulders. if it is eating well and has strong colors, then go for it. it will be a very active fish that needs lot of swimming room. they can get large too. from the photos i have seen, they come in alot of color variations ranging from dull brown to having that neon yellow rim around them.
