This guy looks like a sand sifter golby. Not sure though. The second picture im at a loss. I do know there is another type of these that are harded to care for. My lfs was telling me that you need a Tang to teach them how to eat in a captive enviroment. Any help would be great. ID, what they eat, there temperment, any special needs?

First one looks like a Amblygobius phalaena, brownbarred goby. Second one looks like a Heniochus chrysostomus, pennant bannerfish.

The goby will be fine, but the bannerfish may nip at corals. Feed a varied diet for ominivores.

Great thank you so much, That looks like them. Do you know if the Amblygobius phalaena can be paired? Is there an easy way to sex them (male or female)?
