If the photo was taken in the wild, Joetbs is correct, Crocodilichthys gracilis, the goby is the redhead goby and the gold lined color form is from in the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez if you prefer) the red headed color form is found outside the gulf on the coast in southern Mexico and further south. The only triplefin in the gulf with a black tail base is the C. gracilis.

Thanks! It seems that there are many difference between Mexico and ORA red headed goby. But I don't know why there are many black lines in its body. As far as I know there is no black line on red head goby.

I have never seen an ORA redhead goby, but the gobies look differently depending on where they were collected. The fish in the photo with the yellow lines on the face is from the gulf, further south, along the coast of Mexico they have a much redder head and very few to no yellow lines. The body does have black dash marks down the side on both forms, is that what you mean by black lines?

Yes.It's what I want to say. I think the red head goby from Maxico is more beautiful than other :)
