Fish IDs please

Two different fish. I just have no idea what they are. The small one has a very large eye.

Wow, thank you. Caught off Cape May, New Jersey. New species for me in this local. Could the other be a big eye scad?

Better pics of the second fish. I agree, the dorsal fins are not that of the scad
