Fish in but no cycle

I never saw any raises in ammonia or nitrates in my cycle but I also waited a month before I added anything. Usually you will see diatoms during your cycle. I would do what the others have posted, check water daily and do water changes if you see an ammonia spike. Ride it out for a month before adding anymore live stock, then add a few hermit crabs to clean up. Lesson learned don't listen to your lfs, come here for advice lol. Remember patience is key.

Also to add, I just noticed today that I have a diatom outbreak on my sand bed. Do you think this means that the tank is cycling even though readings are all at and have been 0 everyday?

Get some Granulated GFO for that diatom outbreak. Put some in a media bag designed to hold it, rinse the bag thoroughly with cold tap water, and put this bag in your sump sock.
That is, until you can get a media reactor.
Do a three day black out with this if the outbreak is really bad.
This will stop your diatom outbreak cold.

How are your fish doing today, anyway? I would keep a close eye on them for another week.
If they look and behave fine after that you can be reasonably sure they are ich and Brook free (The parasite would have been visible on the fish by this time).

I would not worry at all or do anything about diatoms or any other algea that pops up over the next couple of months. It's a natural part of the process. Some tanks get it worse then others but it is expected with new tanks. Now after a few months u have one type of algea that won't go away on its on, then it might be time to see if u can do something to get rid of it.

I'm using the API liquid kit and have been testing all four tests everyday. Ammonia, nitrite, Nitrate all are still 0, pH is 8.3 everyday. Also my SG is 1.024 consistently. I have also noticed that there's many air bubbles on the underside on my rock. It's crazy that I have not seen any ammonia or nitrite readings yet. It's puzzling in terms of trying to figure out if my tank is cycling, cycled or not even started to cycle.

They look great! I have been ke ping an eye out for any spots and still have not seen any on them. They all swim around a lot and have been eating as well I give them a small pinch once a day and siphon away what they don't eat after 3 mins but most is usually gobbled up.
