Fish in QT won't eat

All of the Gobies that I have QTed always hide in the first week or two before they start eating. My latest guy (Diamond Watchman) hid for two weeks it the QT, then discovered the sand bowl, build himself a cave, and he was the first to come to the food. When I moved him to the DT, I didn't see him for couple of weeks....same story.

I noticed that my pink spotted diamond goby didn't eat anything this morning either. He was just placed in the quarantine tank, after being shipped here, yesterday. He has a few pvc elbows and tees, but still kind of freaks out when someone comes by the tank.

I tried using sinking pellets.

once ttm is done im going to put a sand bowl in the QT and throw my pistol in there with him...so they can be homies and fatten up before main tank....
thanks for the help everyone, I've done everything i can do and it seems like only thing to do now is wait it out and hope for the best
