how does one go about getting a leopard wrasse out of the overflow.he's a very fast swimmer

may try that,was thinking about this and i am gonna try a peice of pvc pipe placed on the bottom.hopefuly he will swim in and i will be able to net both ends. i hate messing with the pluming when there is nothing wrong,seems murphy always drops buy

drop the tank water level so the water stops flowing the the edge. place a net inthe overflow, better if it is a black net. particularly for leopard wrasses. take a white net and place in overflow move wrassee toward black net waa la you have a wrasse.. then take light diffuser cut to fit over overflow place a window screen over diffuser or silicone it on raise wate r levels and ppour a beer and celebrate the return of your wrasse...
