fish list help me out

so i dont have a tank yet but it is on its way...

but anyways this is my list that i hope to get....

(1) tiger pistol shrimp
( ) kauderns cardinal (not sure how many, a friend suggested get a couple)
(1) yellow watchman goby
(2) black and white percs

umm im not sure definitely a 40 at least but im talking to a guy about a 65 right now

Those are very good fish for a tank that size. Go slow and good luck.

You might also consider a goby to pair up with the pistol (if you get one).

You may be better off with a single cardinal. I have heard that some will kill others if kept together. I have a single kauderns cardinal (almost a year) and it's fine. The rest sound fine to me.

I would think buying a mated pair of Cardinals would be fine together so you can have 2.

wow someone that auctually has a list that would match the tank, the blacks percs are great fish. Let us know how everything goes.

BTW -- the "black and white percs" you mentioned are actually ocellaris.

you sure i know they have b&w oscellaris but i was looking at the fosters and xmith catalog and they have percs as well

Right, and Foster and Smith used the wrong common name. The only thing that would be close to a B&W "Perc" would be an Onyx.

No that is quite alright. I notice that the other day on their site. But I do believe they had the Latin/scientific name right.

Heck, I been doing this since 1990 ish and I am still learning

LOL that is why I have a premium membership - for the spell check,
my is just plain awful.
But my biggest problem is that I leave off the "n't" a lot, that is started a few too many email fights with the GF
