Hello guys,

I just set up my new 250G reef tank, its still cycling and need ideas with what fish to get when the tank is ready. So far what I have in mind is a pair of ocellaris clownfish, yellow tang, hippo tang, and a couple of gobys. Can I also add more tangs or is that enough? I want colorful fish that are reef safe. Thanks

I've seen people who have three tangs in tanks half your size. I would say you're fine, especially with such a light bioload (small clowns + some gobies). You might also look into fairy wrasses.

I would look into fairy wrasses as well maybe a blenny a group of fish like anthias or chromis. You could add another tang or two no problems.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll add a scotts fairy wrasse, a small group of chromis and 2 tangs. What 2 would you choose from these tangs to go with my other fish and tank size.
