Fish, live rock, equipment for sale in Tucson

So after a year with my 50 gal. FOWLR tank, I have decided to get out of the hobby until I am in a more permanent location. It's just become to difficult to maintain in my apartment with the limited room available. I'd like to find a good home for my critters and and live rock first. Here's what I have available:

Fish:
-----
1 Flame Angel ($30)
1 purple-striped psudochromis ($15)
1 blue damsel (hell, you can have him)

Inverts:
------------
1 Coral-banded shrimp ($10)
1 Orange Lincia starfish (small) ($10)
a couple of turbo snails and nerite snails ($1 each)
8-10 hermit crabs (just take 'em)

I also have about 60-70 lbs of beautiful Fiji live rock, and maybe 10 lbs of rubble live-rock. Oh and probably 120 lbs of live sand (sugar-fine). The sand has some nassarius snails running around, but I have no idea how many.

Fiji live rock: $4/lb, or $200 for the lot
Rubble rock: $20 and you can have it all.
Live sand: $1/lb. $100 if you want it all.

I'm not trying to make money on these guys, I just want them to have a good place to live since I can't spend the time on them I need. Prices are negotiable, but I do not deliver. You'll have to come pick them up (bring a scale for the LR since I don't have one, other wise I'll have to estimate). The rock is well established with lots of good things living on it.

Once I sell the livestock, I'll be selling my equipment. I'll list it here so people can see what I have. I'll let everyone know when I am selling all this. Unless you want to buy everything together of course! If so, we'll talk. Anyway, here's what I have:

Equipment:
----------
50-gal all-glass tank ($30)
Wooden cabinet (light pine finish) ($120)
Coralife Lunar Aqualight Deluxe 48", black ($100)
Coralife Super Skimmer 125gal (been modded for quieter operation and fewer bubbles) ($80)
5-stage reverse-osmosis filter (Water General Manufacturing) w/ 3 gal reserve tank ($100)
10-gal sump with overflow box ($30 for both, $20 for the box and $10 for the tank)
Rio 20HF pump w/ SCWD ($30 for pump, $10 for SCWD)
Reef Fanatic electronic water level controller ($50)

Misc. equipment (I can sell this stuff now; not being used)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Couple powerheads lying around ($5 each)
100w heater ($10)
Fluval 404 canister filter ($40)
Coralife Aqualight deluxe 48", silver ($50)

I built the overflow box myself out of plexiglass and plumbed everything with PVC and some flexline. If you want any of the plumbing for the return lines or the overflow box you can have it. I'll have some pics eventually that I can e-mail. In the meantime just send me a message at mikedeats@gmail.com.

Hey everyone, quick update. The following are now available:

-Tank
-live rock
-live sand

The following are currently spoken for:

-Flame angel
-shrimp
-starfish
-turbos
-at least some of the hermits (most likely all)
-Lunar Aqualight Deluxe
-skimmer

Thanks everyone for looking!

Oh and yes, I have 1 set of legs that will work with either light, but they will go with the Lunar Aqualight unless whomever buys it doesn't want them.

dimensions of the 50?

what type of overflow box is it? i assume its a HOB, but is it lifereef, amiricle, DIY, CPR?

phenom5 - It's a HOB that was a DIY project. The tank is 48x12x18" (LxWxH).

hondadude2k5 - I have an offer from a friend to buy the whole setup (minus the fish) but nothing is solid yet. Either way, none of the equipment (except for the stuff I mentioned) are currently available. You can claim items, but until I unload all the live stuff, I can't commit to sell any of the actual tank equipment.

i am interested in the skimmer. if you can do $80 shipped via USPS/priority 96379 I will get it from you as soon as you can let it go. if you could please email me a picture frankvest@gmail.com or PM me one if you want, it would be appreciated.

All right kiddies, I have an update. My "all-in-one" buyer backed out since the tank did not have the proper FAF (fiance acceptance factor) as it meant replacing their current 50-gal freshwater. So, here is an updated list of all the stuff that is currently claimed. Keep in mind that the equipment will be in use for at least a while. So, here we go:

ffjpayne - Flame, shrimp, turbos, starfish, and some of the hermits

fishaholic911 - skimmer, Lunar Aqualight Deluxe, some LR

hondadude2k5 - tank

Also have a coworker who is going to take about 10 lbs. of LR, and a bit of sand. So everything else is still up for grabs. I will PM or email those who have claimed items.

Another quick update, the following items are no longer available:

-Reverse-osmosis system
-Purple-striped psuedochromis

hondadude2k5 - Will probably be minimum of 2 weeks. This weekend I'm unloading some rock and sand, and next I'll be on a cruise for 4 days (3/10-3/14).

Also, my GF is very attatched to the psuedochromis (she named her Penelope :P), so she suggested I downgrade to a nanoreef instead since we can actually have the thing in the living room instead of the work-in-progress-office the big tank is in now. So I think i'm going to go with either a 12 or 24gal cube of some sort (probably one of them all-in-one deals for simplicity). So I'll be keeping some of the LR (and the rubble) and some sand for the nano.

Anywho, basically means that I don't have to sell off EVERYTHING living since I'll be keeping some stuff for the new tank. So alot of the equipment will be available sooner (hopefully).

Yeah i know what you are going through. NEVER sell anything that your better half has given an name to. As for the tank, 2 weeks is A-OK. Have fun on your cruise and just give me a shout when you are ready.
