Fish order QT

I am thinking of getting the following fish:

Blue Throat
Sailfin Tang
Starry Blenny

I usually QT my fish for 4 weeks and treat if necessary but I normally get one at a time. This time around I would like to order these 3 to avoid shipping charges which are more then the fish. My question is can I put these three in a QT at the same time or would this be a bad idea. My tank is a 34 gal and Ill have enough PVC hiding places for each of them.

Also what about skipping the QT on one or two of them, I was thinking of going through blue zoo and have never had an issue with an unhealthy fish.

One last question about the blue throat, I know they wont bother my corals so I'm not worried about that but what about my clean up crew or my blood shrimp??

How large are the fish right now? Imwouldmresist the urge to add any fish without a qt period. Not just for health but or feeding and captive acclimation as well. The tang could require meds that the blenny wouldn't like but I don't know. Good luck.

I'll be getting the smaller options for the fish I like to see everything grow and prosper :)

I agree, I usually resist going right to the tank unless I know exactly where the fish is from and his health aka a friends tank... but I have had excellent fish from BZ and figured it might be less stressful then having the three in the same QT.

The only place I'll trust without quarantining is from Divers Den...not even LiveAquaria and even that is risky to some degree.

My blue throat didn't touch any shrimp while I had him and was a great citizen in my tank.

As for multiple things in quarantine I do it often...mostly from the same shipment.

I normally quarantine 2-3 fish at the same time. You should be fine given that you plan on getting small fish. Be careful about managing water quality if your qt isn't cycled already.

Don't skip quarantine no matter where you get the fish as the potential problems aren't worth it.

I've learned this lesson the hard way now i have a fishless DT as all my fish are going into QT i recently purchased a pair of b&w clowns and they ended up having ich. I was inpatient and put them right into my DT now i need to let it sit fallow for 8 weeks only get to look at a couple corals in there for awhile! Don't let happen to you. I currently have 8 small habitants in QT(30g) keeping very good eye on parameters! And water level!

LA, BZ, even DD suggest you QT every fish. Any fish, from any source, can carry parasites or disease. No dealer can prevent this; that would increase price tremendously. I assume the new fish aren't huge and think they'll be fine in a 34 gal.If they can handle 3rd world capture, transport, & storage; they can handle a 34 gal. QT for a short time. . QT "stress" is (IMO) just an excuse someone came up with not to QT. "

Thank you for the resonses I will just make sure I have enough hiding in there so they each have their own place and see how it goes.
