i was thinking of packing my 55g with lots of fish! right now i have a
1 yellow tang
2 true percs with a anemone
1 coral beauty
1 fire fish

can anyone give me some info in packing fish in a 55 gal and any recommendations on what kind of fish i should get to lighten up my tank?

Ive seen your tank. If you arent getting any SPS get some more Live Rock. Rock is the key to a good looking tank. Coral and fish are just accesories IMO.

There are tons of fish to choose from though....

The tang and the coral beauty are not really appropriate for a 55g, IMO, but there are many fish that are.

If you want a lot of fish (I assume that's what you mean by packing), you need to be extra careful to select fish that have their own niche, so they won't fight or be stressed.

An extra large sump and meticulous care is important id you want you tank to continue to look good (no hair algae farm) with a high bioload.

If you want that splash of brilliant yellow that is within your size range, look to the gobies and blennies. There are several, not to mention some that are white and red striped, with huge fins, etc. I have a 52 with only gobies, dartfish, and dragonette, (and one silly chromis, got for his color, not to cycle my tank, thank you!) and everything is in motion, and in 'scale' to my reef. My fish are 'big' in relation to their environment, and nothing stresses, everything has its territory, and fish that are often reputed as shy are out all the time, blustering and posturing as if they were king of the reef. I'd have a blenny, but I want to be sure the one I get doesn't take after my clam.
