Fish Plan

So im making a plan for the fish that i want to put in my 29 gal reef. This is what i have so far:

Bicolor Angel
2 pair orange skunk clowns
Banded goby
Domino and Yellow Tail Blue Damsel

How does this sound?

clowns + damsels in a smllaer tank = aggression. I'd probably avoid the damsels all the way around. Otherwise, the bicolor may nip at soft corals/clams if you add them, but bio-load wise that number of fish would be ok.

is that 2 pair of orange skunk clowns or 2 orange skunk clowns as in a pair... i think 2 pairs in a 29g is asking for trouble.

the dommino dasmel will get very teritorial and mean in a 29g(voice of experience here)... dont have any exp with theyellow tail blue damsel

I would rethink the Bi-color angel. Besides being one of the worse angels as far as reef safe goes, they also have a pretty poor track record of survival.

All the pigmy angels minimum tank size is 55 gal also they will (can) go after corals according to the book Marine Fishes by Scott W. Michael . From my experience with damsels first they will kill the goby then the clowns one at a time then will go after each other with the domino being the last living fish and no further additions possible. When we had one at a fish store it ended up in our most aggressive tank with triggers and lionfish it killed one trigger the first day and bit the fins off of the other by the following day (both triggers were more than twice it's size) and it would try and eat all the food before the lions could get at it .We finally had to put it in solitary . This was in a sixty gal tank

How would a coral beauty or elbii angel be, as far as reef safe go?

bad news, not sure the final tank size, but those guys are likely to nip corals. if I were to try any of the pygmy angels, it would probably be the cherub. and that one stays small. even still there's no guarantee.

regarding the firefish, note that they're jumpers, though rather docile.
