Fish Poo,

In My Tank I have several fish all healthy. However I noticed lately my Naso 8" long has poo that seems dry and stringy.

Is that a bad thing? he seems healthy and unbothered by anything.

Could be a sign of an internal parasite. I would do some research see if it has any other symptoms.

Could also be a result of its diet.

Many factors can cause this. How long have you had the tang and what do you feed him?

I have had him about a year. He gets a varied diet. Nori. mysis, angel formula,shrimp, spectrum pellets, flake, macro from the fuge...etc.

Its yellow and very much like stringy "roughage"
He seems healthy and active, first one to eat.

As said above, it might be due to internal parasites. Keep an eye on him during feeding time and watch out if he is still first one to eat. Most of his diet should consist of macro algae with some meaty foods like mysis. Try some fresh sargassum and sargassum based frozen/dry foods.
